Hear This Terms of Use

Hear This is provided by G Tree LLC. These terms apply to your use of the app and website. Purchases through Apple are also subject to Apple’s applicable terms.

Using Hear This

Hear This provides music-learning, listening, theory, exploration and practice tools. Use it in accordance with applicable law and these terms.

Hear This supports learning and practice but does not guarantee particular educational or professional results. Please listen at a comfortable volume.

Optional accounts

You can use Hear This without an account. Signing in enables automatic synchronization of supported Journey progress, recorded listening history and selected preferences. Not every setting or saved tool collection synchronizes.

You are responsible for maintaining access to your sign-in method. To request account deletion, open Settings, select your signed-in account and choose Delete Account.

Deleting your account or removing the app does not cancel an Apple subscription. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled: https://hearthis.studio/privacy

Free and Full Studio access

Hear This includes Journey Levels 1–10 and selected Studio tools for free. Full Studio opens the complete 50-level core Journey and additional tools.

Available plans, prices, billing periods and any trial or introductory offer are shown before purchase.

Subscriptions

A subscription upgrades your access to Full Studio, including the complete 50-level core Journey and additional Studio tools, for as long as your subscription remains active.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through your Apple Account at least 24 hours before the current billing period ends. If you cancel, Full Studio access continues until the end of the paid subscription period.

Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. Apple handles billing and refund requests under its applicable policies. Deleting your Hear This account or the app does not cancel billing.

Lifetime access

Lifetime is a one-time purchase providing Full Studio access, including future Hear This updates and content additions, for the life of Hear This.

“Lifetime” refers to the continued availability of Hear This, rather than the purchaser’s lifetime. It does not promise a particular future feature or release date.

Purchases and restoration

Digital purchases in the app are processed through Apple. Eligible purchases can be restored using the Apple Account originally used to purchase them. A Hear This learner account is separate from your Apple purchase account.

Website merchandise

Physical merchandise is available through our website using Fourthwall’s catalog and checkout. Shop prices are displayed in USD. Final prices, availability, shipping costs and taxes are confirmed at checkout.

Review the purchase, shipping, return and refund policies provided in our Fourthwall store (https://hear-this-shop.fourthwall.com/) and at checkout. For fulfillment, shipping, return or refund assistance, use the order-support information provided by Fourthwall.

Merchandise purchases do not include Full Studio access unless explicitly stated.

Ownership and acceptable use

Hear This’s software, curriculum, artwork, audio, branding and writing are owned by or licensed to G Tree LLC. Your access does not transfer ownership.

You may not unlawfully copy, resell, redistribute or commercially exploit protected content, bypass access controls, or interfere with the security or operation of the service. Restrictions on reverse engineering apply only where permitted by law.

Synchronization and availability

Supported account data synchronizes using Supabase. Features that depend on online services may be unavailable while offline, and not all device-local content is restored through synchronization.

We may update Hear This to improve its content, design, compatibility and security. These changes remain subject to existing purchase commitments and applicable consumer rights.

Online services may occasionally be interrupted by maintenance or technical problems. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or a particular future release date.

Your rights

To the extent permitted by law, Hear This is provided “as is” and “as available.” Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights or other protections that cannot legally be waived.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as Hear This evolves. We will update the date above and communicate material changes when required.
